Jaari3409 conceived the show's concept in 1994 and 1995 while serving at Jaari3409 Pictures Inc. in California after he created the main characters and wanted to make a whole world about them.
A theatrical film based on the series called The Optimistic Boys Movie. was released on November 16, 2001.
