Trivia

  • Mr Pookie says that this episode's titlecard was the hardest titlecard to make for the show, as the opening credits had to match the pattern of colours on the shorts.
  • This is the only episode without any intermissions, as the whole episode was made of shorts.
  • The exact pattern of the shorts on the titlecard from left to right were:
  • 1: Pink with dark blue triangles
  • 2: Dark green with white circles
  • 3: Red with yellow stars
  • 4: Brown with light green left, right, up and down arrows
  • 5: Orange with no pattern
  • This is the first episode with a white titlecard.
  • "Shorts" was the first segment to air in 2015.
  • "The Apple of Power" was dedicated to the memory of Ernest Borgnine, due to the apple giving Cucumber superpowers, and Borgnine playing Mermaid Man in SpongeBob SquarePants. Ernest was one of Mr Pookie's favourite actors growing up.
