proto emerald is the insane prototype of emerald and is one of the main antagonists in emerald the robot.

proto was the first robot created by bob the scientist, for the first few days of his life he acted like a normal robot, but one day he accidently bashed his head against a wall and damaged his motherboard, he then started acting crazy (similar to a person with schitzophrenia), a few more days later he started to attempt to destroy everything, he was deactivated by bob, but several years later he was reactivatedd by emerald, hethen tried to destroy his younger brother.
