Cloning System 9000 is the first episode of the American adult animated sitcom, Kitchen. It first aired on MTV in the United States on June 5, 1999. The episode introduces the main protagonists, Bucket Head, and Pants, who attempt to save PotCity, after they find a cloning machine which immediately causes clones to take over. Despite being a classic favorite, the episode has been given mixed reviews by most critics (mostly positive), and has had an American viewing of 1.23 Million nationwide. The episode was written by series creator, Son of Hat, and was produced by him as well. In the United States, the episode was given a TV-14-V rating, a 14+ rating in Canada, and a M rating in Australia.

Synopsis[]

Pants loses his football after Mr. Henry tosses it out of the classroom's window, and into the trash. He forces Bucket Head in helping him find it later. However, instead of finding the football, the two rediscover a strange, old looking machine. After Bucket Head enters it out of curiosity it clones himself. The boys decide to make more clones to do their every bidding. But when the two start treating the clones like crap, the clones become more rebellious, and eventually plan to take over the town. It's up to Pants and Bucket Head to fix the problem that they've started.
